Isaac Potter built it specifically for the town of Nov\u00e1 Ba\u0148a and used steam power for the first time on the European continent. The machine was used to drain water from flooded mines. With each stroke, the machine drained 1 bucket of water (50 l) and made 14 strokes per minute. The foundations of this important technical work were discovered in 2019 and research is still ongoing. The plan is also to build a replica of the machine and the museum.
