The educational trail connects technical monuments from mines and historical monuments related to precious metals and the mining tradition in Nová Baňa. The trail is divided into two circuits. Route A (black) maps mining activities in the Middle Ages, and passes through more difficult forest terrain. Route B (green) mainly consists of urban areas in Nová Baňa, and its borough Vŕšky. It mainly focused on mining in the 16th to 19th centuries, including ore treatment facilities, and the water management system for mines.
