Revište Castle is situated on the right bank of the Hron river, just below the forest on the slope in Revištské Podzámčie. From the upper car park, an educational trail with 8 information stops guides visitors to the castle, and provides them with insight into the lives of important lords of the castle, the Dóci family included, and the history of the castle.
The trail was built in 2012 and officially inaugurated during the periodically held Night of Castles and Ruins in August 2012. From the first known owner, King Andrew II, it narrates the history of Ján Jiskra, King Matthias Corvinus, the Dóci family, to its more recent owners. The trail also briefly describes the castle history.
