Many cultural monuments in the village were devastated during World War II and by floods in the 1960s. Traditional log cabin built on stone foundations was preserved. It was inhabited until 2008, then donated to the village by Mrs. Karolína Urbanová
After the reconstruction in 2014, a municipal museum established an exhibition in the log cabin to present the traditional life of locals. The original furnace, weaving looms, and spinning wheel are preserved, and mannequins are displayed in traditional folk garments.

The exhibition has its exterior section - the farm yard with wooden sculptures, a threshing plant, and a small Kľak well next to the log cabin.
If you are interested in visiting the log cabin, contact the Municipal Office in Župkov in advance. They will provide you with the available dates, or keys to the log cabin.
