The trail will guide you through the natural, but especially historical attractions of the village of Stará Kremnička. It is circular, bidirectional, and starts in the centre of the village. It has a total of 6 stops, and covers mild elevation of 300 m across 5.5 km.
For most of its length, it mirrors the route of former railway line Hronská Dúbrava - Vrútky, popularly known as the Slovak Semmering. During the walk along the nature trail you will learn not only why this nickname was adopted here, but also who was the municipal kížbier and what was his role or other interesting facts.
The climb to the Kamenica hill, with an altitude of 552 m.a.s.l. will reward you with a panoramic view on the palm of your hand. You will see the northern Žiar basin, with the silhouette of Šášov Castle on the horizon.
