The village of Bzenica is known mainly thanks to its native, a Catholic priest, scientist and polyhistor, Andrej Kmeť. His scientific research reached the European level at the time. A memorial room with an exhibition about his life and work was set up in the building of the former school. All you have to do is inform the municipal office in advance about your arrival. One of the oldest hiking trails begins in the village - the Andrej Kmeť Trail crosses the Sitno hill to Prenčov. Andrej Kmeť worked as priest in Prenčov.
