The ruins of the castle above the Rudno nad Hronom municipality date back to the 13th century. It was likely built by noblemen from Kalná, who were the owners of Rudno at that time. The castle had a very brief existence, and only the masonry of the defense tower, ruins of the palace, bulwark and ditch have been preserved to the present day.
