Tourists who know the trail compare it to routes in the nature reserve “Slovak Paradise”. A side location of Štiavnické vrchy mountains, it is situated on the road to the village of “Sklené Teplice”. A green circular trail leads to the Kečka hill. It is a one-way trail (the trail marks are on one side only), and will take you through a number of interesting places. The route is characterized by unusual rock formations – the remains of pink rhyolite mining in the area – but also by flora protected by law. Exposed rocks with security chains and ladders, and far-reaching views, remind visitors of the nature reserve “Slovak Paradise”. For more experienced hikers, we recommend taking the yellow trail and then the green trail from Sklené Teplice. The hike of several hours will turn into a full-day trip.
